Compressed Air Technician

Maintenance services on a variety of refrigeration systems

Our Client currently has a new vacancy for a Mobile Compressed Air Technician to work on several of their new client sites within the Sheffield/Midlands region. This role will provide maintenance services on a variety of refrigeration systems across a number of customer sites.

Role Specification: The successful candidate will need to have an NVQ/C&G in compressed air systems, alongside the ability to conduct the following key tasks:

Skills and Competencies:

· To carry out planned and unplanned maintenance and diagnostics (on both mechanical and electrical defects) on industrial air compressors and dryers.

· Extensive proven competence within compressed air is required.

· Proven competence across a wide range of manufactures plant and equipment would be advantageous.

· Basic IT literacy would be an advantage.

· To maintain a good working relationship with customer representatives and work in a manner that ensures that all aspects of the service agreement between the Client and the customer are delivered with the requisite levels of professionalism.

· Proven excellent communication and organisational skills.

· Good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures; with the ability to communicate effectively with the H&S team to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are always maintained.

Salary and Benefits:

Circa £24-26,000 per annum plus flexibility allowance.
