Excellent Part Time Banking Opportunity!

28 hours per week (4 full weekdays 9am – 5pm + 4 hours on a Saturday 9am – 1pm)

Our client is a leading UK Building Society who are looking for an excellent Part Time Customer Service Advisor to work within their Harrogate branch. You will provide a face-to-face banking service within the branch whilst generating sales and referrals to the Branch Manager and other Financial Consultants within your team.
You must:

• Have previous experience of sales lead generation
• Experience of working in a sales through service environment is desirable
• Have good administration & PC skills
• Have fantastic communication skills both written and verbal
• Have the ability to work with limited supervision
• Have excellent attention to detail

Your main duties will include:
Being the first point of contact for customers in the branch in order to deal with and action either a range of general banking/account enquiries/concerns and/or specific service/product enquiries
Identify where the Society can help the customer
Pursue potential sales leads
Contact customers to discuss opportunities to help them and arrange appointments
Updating customer files
Liaise with and/or refer calls to other internal departments/external parties where necessary
Where appropriate – balance cash at end of the day
Support the branch with cashiering and administrative duties and contribute towards a culture of excellence by giving the best possible service experience to customers

Competitive salary dependant upon experience:

£12,000 – £12,500 + Branch Bonus’s Pro Rata
