Oracle Support Analyst

Analyst - Growing Software House

      The successful Oracle Analyst/Developer will have a strong commercial background in Oracle and any experience with upgrades or newer versions such as 10g or 11i from 8i will be considered highly beneficial.

      This Oracle Support/Developer position will focus heavily on forms, reports and day-to-day support (1st/2nd/3rd line) initially. The role will be split for the first few months 60/40 with the up-keep and development of applications as well. You will have good 2nd and 3rd line application support as well as solid development skills across Oracle reports, Oracle forms and PL/SQL. You will work on re-developments, enhancements, some new development and maintenance. The key element of this role will be to provide strong analysis skills, support, development reporting and customer assistance.

      After the initial period you will also be involved in implementation and maintenance of sound backup, security and recovery policies and procedures. As well as getting more heavily involved in Development as well. Any exposure to .NET, ASP.NET, C# will be a big bonus for this varied role.
