Java Developer
Growing Software company based in Harrogate
I have been retained exclusively to recruit an experienced Java Developer to join this growing Software company based in Harrogate. The company specialise in developing bespoke financial software for a range of global blue-chip companies. The successful candidate will develop and maintain business-critical solutions, built using Java and web-based technologies. The successful candidate will lead the development and support of ‘software as a service’ products using Java as the primary server-side development language and HTML, JavaScript and CSS on the client side.
Key Experience
- High level of Java programming experience using J2EE. – MySQL Database – Linux experience would be an advantage – Good HTML, CSS and Javascript experience will be a distinct advantage, as will other web-based technologies such as AJAX, XML, JSON and SOAP. – A logical, problem-solving mind is essential as is the ability to work with, and help to co-ordinate, an existing team of developers. The company offers a friendly and enthusiastic, but professional working environment with interesting and exciting projects. Excellent communications skills are required, particularly where dealing with non-technical colleagues and clients. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Developer to take a lead development role within a forward thinking organisation.
