HVAC Technician
Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance
Our client has a new vacancy for a Mobile Fridge/HVAC Technician to work on a number of sites within their north/midlands region. This role will be part of the operations team, and will provide maintenance services on a variety of refrigeration systems across a number of customer sites.
Role Specification: To carry out planned and unplanned maintenance and diagnostics (on both mechanical and electrical defects) on Industrial refrigeration and air conditioning plant and systems. To be considered for this post, a good level of proven competence within refrigeration is required coupled with an NVQ/C&G in refrigeration & air conditioning. Proven competence across a wide range of manufactures plant and equipment would be advantageous. This position will involve a significant amount of UK travel
The successful candidate will need to have an NVQ/C&G in refrigeration and air conditioning, alongside the ability to conduct the following tasks:
Skills and Competencies:
· Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance and diagnostics (on both mechanical and electrical defects) on Industrial refrigeration and air conditioning plant and systems.
· Proven competence within refrigeration is essential.
· The ability to work unsupervised and manage work time and jobs accordingly.
· Basic IT literacy would be an advantage.
· To maintain a good working relationship with customer representatives and work in a manner which ensures that all aspects of the service agreement between our client and the customer are delivered with the requisite levels of professionalism.
· Proven excellent communication and organisational skills.
· Good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures; with the ability to communicate effectively with the H&S team to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are always maintained.
Salary and Benefits:
Circa £24-26,000 per annum + flexibility allowance
