Business Development

Based from home covering the UK

My client is looking to recruit a New business Developer who will be based from home covering the UK.
The individual will be responsible for the management and development of client sales accounts in order to drive significant sales revenues and new accounts.

You will have a proven track record for achieving Solution/Conceptual Sales and have existing strong relationships with clients in the relevant sector.

•You will be a self starter who is highly results driven with a confident and assertive personality with excellent, written and presentation skills
You will be aware of the drivers in the IT market and possessing a strategic approach as well as experience of operating at CEO and/or CIO level

You will approach your work in a consultative manner and combine commercial acumen with a keen eye for detail

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management of client accounts

To identify, manage and close opportunities within clients
To understand existing and new clients current business goals, articulate future ones and to position the company as a provider of services to meet these goals.
To identify winning consortiums and teams to deliver significant growth

Developing business propositions

To attend relevant seminars and conferences where applicable.
To support all marketing initiatives relevant to accounts and follow up all potential leads.
To follow up all leads to a successful conclusion.
To input into solution development
To work with major partners to take propositions to market
To work with niche product/services providers to take propositions to market
Lead generation for other business areas, and the development/closure of sales pipeline from these opportunities with relevant internal parties

The role is location independent and based from home, you will be required to travel to clients UK wide. The salary will pay a base of £40,000 and attract a bonus of another £40,000 as well as a car allowance.
